I downloaded the cricut craft room to my computer and created something I want to cut. I'm confused how it will cut. I just opened up my cricut and there is no cord connecting my computer to the cricut, how can I get it to cut? I thought it was a long shot, but thought maybe it had internet connection and clicked "cut" and it says "no usable devices are available, make sure your device is powered on and connected" It's on and plugged into the wall, how do I connect it? I'm sorry, I have no idea!!

You connect the cricut to the computer using a cord that would connect a computer to a printer. USB end to the computer and other end to the back of the cricut.
I remember having the same question when I first tried ccr!
Hope this helps!

Which Cricut are you using? Some Cricuts (the Mini, Expression 2 and Imagine) come with the correct USB cord.

The other Cricuts (Personal, Create & Expression) don't come with a cord and you need to purchase it separately.

The cord you are looking for is an A/B USB cable. The one on your printer is probably the correct type.
