I love how you are all chiming in here and having fun with this...I went to Joanns today and took advantage of their 50% off all the CLEARANCE items !! Wow !! What a haul - I got 116 items for $60.00 and most of the items were originally $2.99 to $7.99 ~ most of it for papercrafting !Woot Luckily, a lot of it was for Fall !! Wub

I am thinking I may have to find a larger shoe box because I am already getting full and have just a little more then 1/2. Maybe a boot box instead of the shoes. will have to wait and see.

I actually found 11 items yesterday from _________. I was SO thrilled. Really cool stuff for a bargain. I was thinking way outside the shoebox on some of them.
It helped me to think colors, patterns, and shapes in relation to the actual word.
Now I need to start crafting, going to try and make the rest except for 3 which I'm combining sort of.

Have a good day!

Just so you all know - JoAnns is giving 50% off the CLEARANCE prices through June 30th...I loaded up again - could not believe the stuff I got for 25 cents each ! Wub

I understand that it is hard to fit everything into a shoebox...a boot box is okay. I guess I will have to be FLEXIBLE when it comes to the boxes ! Razz OhMyGod That is not a major problem at all....I am encouraging you to try to keep the postage down to a minimum for one thing. FLAT RATE Priority mail boxes are free, and sometimes it is cheaper to use your own box and go by weight. I have also recently discovered the ZONE PRIORITY boxes, and that it is cheaper to use one of those if you are mailing within your own zone ( like from FLorida straight up the East Coast is one zone)

I was originally thinking of small items like Bling and ink pads and cards etc....so have fun and keep within your budget too. I also like to think "outside" the shoebox and find quirky things to fit the descriptions....

Happy hunting ! Woot

Doing good busy working on my RAKs - finishing up my bottle swap. Found a couple more items for the shoe box. Just taking it a little easier - no more scrapbooks that have to be completely done in 6 weeks.

Need to work on getting my room clean - what a pit.Tongue Scared

Got a PM from my partner Madhatter and she has had some computer problems....but should be joining in with us soon...
Thanks to all who have checked in . Remember it is important to stay in touch with your partner...

Went to Joanns the other day and it looks like someone there had "Fall Fever" already. Same with HL... Even though we are in the Dog Days of Summer, it is nice to see those colors ! I love the Oranges and Greens and Browns !! Rather soothing to the eyes ... Love

I know some of you are real fast workers and probably have your boxes already done or close to it, but please don't mail them out this soon. I would rather that nobody mailed before August 1st unless there is some pressing reason why you have to ( like you are going to Europe for 90 days vacation ! ) . It is better if everyone gets there boxes within the same time frame so we can share pix and close out together. Thanks !

Well, I am a master procrastinator so I won't be one of those tempted to mail early!! I have several ideas, but really haven't started. Have one order in and waiting for delivery and that will be my start!! Actually can't wait to do something crafty!!

Been working in the garden and working on the yard for July 4th company and will be running my second 5K this weekend.

Wishing everyone a sunny fun weekend!!

Happy 4th ya'll. We are going to my sister's house in Philadelphia for the festivities...

WAWA's Welcome America. We do it every year for some reason. LOL It is crowded and hot and makes me miserable, but my sister lives in the heart of it all, and it is very easy to maneuver around.
Barb, we went to see Peter Nero and "The Philly Pops" at Independence Hall last night. AMAZING....The William Tell Overture brings a tear to my eye.

Hi Everyone - I am busy working on tags tonight but also wanted to check in here and post a NEW SWAP for ALTERED CLOCKS ....check it out !

Denise, that concert sounds wonderful ! When I lived in Baltimore I would go to the Balto.Symphony performances all the time....Had the privilege of seeing Van Cliburn play the piano...as well as Liberace !! Also have been to the New York Philharmonic, but not to Philadelphia or Boston. I am a classical music nut ! I know you had a great time !!

Donna - Normal is not a bad thing...it is predictability - much better than craziness of holidays - IMHO !

Will be back soon ~ Love

Waving hi to my partner Godit's Girl. Is there anything you would like to have that would fit one of the items on the list. I have come up with some different items and you may even get a few extra becuase I could not decide which to send for a few of the items from the list.

The clock swap is one I have been waiting to do but depending on the date may have to skip it. These swaps are starting to get real time consumming and expensive to send out multiple swaps in one month every month.ThumbDown

However it is so hard to not join becuase they are so much fun.Wub
