Hi,
I hope someone might have some advice for me.
I just got a Cricut Expression. I've been trying to use it, and I notice the blade is dragging across my cut out, ruining it. I put in a new blade, have a new mat, using 12x12 scrapbook paper (happened w/ vinyl too), have the blade setting on 3 w/ medium pressure and medium speed (this stopped the paper ripping). I've tried the reset procedures, and that hasn't helped either.
Thanks in advance,
Danielle

Sounds like the blade housing unit might be installed too low. Here's a photo of how it should be placed:

Danielle,

I have been having the same problem with my Expression and have done everything that you have done. My blade is not set too low. Can anyone give us any ideas?

Thanks,
Becky
