The due date is fast approaching. Where did the time go? The due date to mail is just a little over two weeks. I don't plan on extending this due date as I would like to get all the swaps wrapped up and closed out by the 15th ish. Cannot wait to see more pics.BigGrin

Thanks,

K

On Monday, I was going to send yours regular mail and it would have been delivered next Monday the 29th. So the one you sent sounds about right.

I changed my mind when the girl at the PO gave me a much lower price for priority than I found online.
Says to expect it tomorrow. Will seeBigGrin

Whew!!!!! Glad you liked them!!! I had lots of fun with the house even though I don't really like Halloween.
You did get my note about the "book" pumpkin I hope. Not one of my best projectsBlushing but you can grunge it up and make it perfect!!!!!!

FYI, I bought a square box for $3.99 at M's and took the hardware off.
I then had 2 pieces I could make into something. Better than buying a shadowboxBigGrin

Lori's package went out today...label number 9505 5101 3655 3205 5352 93 looks like the number, but the receipt is very light, I suggested to her that she change her ink but she looked at me like I asked for her first born....anyway, scheduled delivery is Friday.

Jean, you went above and beyond, for sure! I love all of it! Just awesome. And how did you do the deer and ghosts? wrinkled up paper or something else? I love the look of them - a nice change up from how I've always used glitter paper on the deer.

Enjoy Kim! Lucky you!

I forgot that you were in Vegas when I posted one of the deer!!!!

I used Texture Magic dimensional paint by Delta. I bought some for $1-2 per tube at Ocean State Job Lot. Didn't matter what color they had because I figured I would paint it anyway.
Spread it on with a popsicle stick, letting it stick up everywhere, let it dry and paint it whatever color you want.
On the deer, I added a little bronze paint and spread it around with my finger. I added black glitter paper on the back for the ghost eyes. Pumpkin is TH spiced marmalade crackle paint.

I also made the deer 3 layers before I added anything to them.

I am so happy, Denise!!! I got die cut projects and they are AWESOME! You did a lot of wonderful work on it. I love the Alice and Wonderland theme for the tryptic and the wall decor. And the bird with birdcage! I love the way it sparkles. Thank you.

I will post pics on Sunday because tomorrow is a big day - a birthday and two Christenings. :-)

Here are the die cuts from Denise:

wall hanging:

back of tryptic- love the paper, looks like the front and bindings of those old books.

front - my favorite of three. I think I have watched 3 versions of Alice in Wonderland! The hallmark version is actually a very good one. Perfect choice, Denise!

Bird and birdcage in all its glittery goodness :-)

When I worked at the campground, we always said that when July 4th weekend was over so was summer. I know it sounds strange but the time after that goes by so fast, that before you know it the kids are headed back to school.
Plus it goes by faster as you get olderBlushing

I can't find the instructions for the one I made but I used the Sizzix die as my template.

Google pumpkin book from paperback and click images. Once you find one, you should be able to get instructions.
