Mad Paid quite a bit for my IMAGINE when first came out (HSN Purchase)
When I got it and opened it, my touch screen popped off.
I was told to ship it back and I got a new one.

I've only used it 3 times in all this time since I work full time and don't have much time to use it.
So, having some free time, I decide to try out a new cartridge.
Turn it on and nothing happened.

did Cricut "Imagine Format and Restore".
I followed instructions on screen and watched as it went thru the levels.
When it got to "Set up Imagine" it asked me to insert cartridge and press OK.
I did this, and now it's stuck. (it dinged and showed hour glass twice, then stopped processing)
I've tried this 3x and everytime I put in cartridge (Imagine More) it does this.

These are the instructions you gave me in your email...Now what do I do since it does not recognize any cartridge?

Have you gotten your issue resolved yet?

I did not think you needed a cartridge to do the format and restore through C-Sync. Pretty sure, though, that if you do, ANY Imagine cart should work.

If you still have issues, make sure your firewall and antivirus (if applicable) are not blocking C-Sync. Make sure you have the most recent C-Sync and Adobe Air. There is a very good sticky at the top of this forum detailing the format/restore steps. I've only ever had to do it once and it did take awhile, but as I recall, it took 3 tries to get it all the way through. It was probably my internet connection though, as I'm on satellite.

I do hope that you have resolved this issue, if not I have a confession to make about my recent Imagine update. I too was asked to 'insert cartridge' and despite the clue on screen that it meant 'ink cartridges' I just hadn't 'seen' it, I felt really silly, too busy concentrating on the instructions to get my brain to process what they actually meant Laugh
