Mine are postal.BigGrin

Mine are stamped on GinaK paper and heat embossed with Early Espresso embossing powder from Stampin' Up! I think they came out good (of course, I ruined about 4 sheets of paper)!

I think this is who is left to mail out this next week:

CraftyOldBat # 9574210892233186535113 arrived
LoriSjogren DC 9505 5104 3481 3184 3285 52 arrived
Scraprageous shipped arrived
DeniseEmmerich 9505 5109 7991 3189 4075 30 arrived

In the mail:
PlanLady19
RockinRobin
Cricut Crazy
Bklynborn
KelleyRooks

It is no big deal that you don't have DC#s for me. I didn't require that and I truly cannot justify paying for priority for stamped images - something so simple. So don't worry about it.

I was told that you can only get tracking for Priority boxes or envelopes. The "tracking" number they put on 1st class is supposedly just for the PO if they have a problem with the package.
I have tried to track 1st class online and it says it is not available so check with your PO.

You can send anything Priority if you pay for it!!!!!!
I just sent a box that I cut down (17X17X5) priority to MA and I had no problem. She put it on the scale, I said send it Priority and she told me how much. It was cheaper than a flat rate box!!!!
These postal workers sometimes are a pain. The guy I didn't like at my PP FINALLY retired!!!!!

Gwynne - I have mailed....messed up and put the tracking# on the other swap post for my Tag swap...I ended up putting everything in a Priroity Mail envelope as the one you sent me was too small for the tags, images and Bright papers & feathers I am sending you ...
Also, I hope it is okay but I spent about 3-4 hours last night looking all over for my Flying Pig stamp and could not find it , and since I had to get done with this last night late I went ahead and substituted the G45 Corset Ladies for it, along with the Lady with the Key in her back.

My DH is right - I pile too many things on myself all at once and when things get hectic at work it can become a problem to keep up. So, I will be more careful to spread out my swaps more. It is so tempting to join them....Maybe one day when I dont have to work to pay the bills I can just craft and swap all day long !! Woot Wub

I mail First class WITH tracking all the time, especially since doing these images swaps. I say "FIRST CLASS WITH TRACKING" and that's what I get. I was told you CAN still get tracking on First class you just pay the extra`.80 or whatever it is.

I asked at my post office - she said under 13 ounces (first class) you had to ask for and pay for the DC number, but you can get it. Anything over 13 ounces is to come with it automatically now except media mail.

Rules for the post office:Wink

1. Avoid lines and use automated machines, but you will pay on average $1 extra for this as they are screwed up. I consider it a charity donation and worth it if my patience is thin that day.

2. If you do stand in line, NEVER talk or look anyone in the eye. The crazy is just waiting to be unleashed.

3. Expect the person behind the counter to be multi-tasking. Passports, pick-ups, supervising, trying to eat lunch, and therefore crabby.

3. As you leave, thank all things good and holy that you don't have to work there and deal with (see no. 2 and 3)

Have a good day, can't wait to get these back.

I am set up online postage with Paypal and you get free tracking on every package. I think this is also true on USPS.com and you pay with a credit card.
Much easier than arguing with the clerks at the Post Office who arent sufficientyl trained anyway...ask the same question of 5 of them and you will get 5 different answers ! Flapper LOL

If you have a scale, I agree click and ship (the online one) is really simple and saves money over the window for all flat rate items (I use Regional Rate A boxes a lot). It used to be that was the only way (or paypal) to get free DC#'s. Paypal still is for light weight first class.

I started using the click and ship when I needed boxes that our local post office never kept in stock, now it just saves time.

Yes - I discovered the Regional Rate boxes and order them online for free...make up the labels and drop them in the PO Lobby. Paypal is great for the First Class small packets like we have for cards and such.

Now if the post office didn't have a gagillion concrete stairs I wouldn't have to wait for josh to go with me. Usually I am mailing a ton of packages at once. He usually lugs them up for me. However I wouldn't trade it...I love the convenience.

I am lucky in that I can hit a PO on my way home from work that is a regional DC as well so things go out pretty quick. As I was waiting in line this week at 5:50PM they announced that they would be locking the doors at 6:00 so if we were claustophobic or wanted out we better go now otherwise we would be locked in and they would serve a small group then let everyone out. They also requested that we not call 911 and tell them we were being held against our willLOL

I sent PMs with DC#s to Sunflowersky, Jean, LoriSjogren, Barbara, DeniseE and COB

Deliveries all say Monday except Barbara is Tuesday.

I would think the rest of you would receive Tues. or Wed. as well as normally anything I mail on Saturday here travels fast.

If you'd let me know you received your pkg., I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

Then I will find it interesting for you all to put some of these images to use and give your opinion on whether you would prefer them to be just plain stamped or embossed and stamped should we do a future round down the road.

Some I am glad are embossed, but others I would probably be just as happy to just be stamped.

In any event, it was a great swap with great images and I thank you all for your cooperation.
