Confused Hi everyone, my friend bought a Gypsy from a fellow crafter which had never been updated from new. She has tried sync but after a day only some updates had occured and since then her Gypsy sync stops and she gets the message that the Gypsy is not responding. I have a gypsy and my sync operation is fine and successful. I connected her Gypsy to my sync thinking well it works with mine. I have tried numerous times to sync her Gypsy but always with the response that the Gypsy is not responding. Help please. It cant be antivirus as the sync works with my device. Any ideas?

Are you using Gypsy Sync {the original but defunct program} or Cricut Sync? I would suggest making sure Cricut Sync is updated then update the Gypsy. And make sure to have the Gypsy plugged into an outlet because a never updated Gypsy will take a while to update and the battery could run out before the update is completed.

If it still won't update, call PC and CS will help troubleshoot.
