This line causes the 2 to be cut in half during the cutting process. It cuts right across the diagonal line. I tried to make the numbers smaller or larger and tried adjusting the weld point but nothing removes the diagonal line. Can you let me know how to fix?Angry

What are you using to weld? If it DS or the Gypsy, I can check mine out but if it's CCR, I can't help as I never use it.

If you have them grouped you might try ungrouping.

Do you "see" the diagonal line on the mat? If so, you might need to delete that file and start again. If you don't see the line, the blade is dragging as it moves from finishing the "2" to starting the "8" and that might be fixed with a reset. I have the procedure posted in the Cricut Help page on my blog:

Hopefully, it will be an easy fix. I was able to weld and cut them without problems.

Hi there,

I am using CCR - I find it is very buggy. I'm going to try creating the same document in Gypsy. I'll bet that it doesn't happen there. I tried to ungroup, I tried to delete the 2 and 8 and then put them back. As soon as I weld the two numbers the line shows up. When it cuts the numbers, it cuts the circles out of the 8 first and then goes and cuts around the outside of both numbers, lastly, it comes back and cuts on where that diagonal line intersects the 2. I like the ease of working with the big screen on my computer but I have found so many bugs in the cricut craft room. I think I'll just go back to using the gypsy. It doesn't have any of these problems.

Thanks for both of your responses!!!

Since you're "seeing" the line on the mat, it's definitely a welding issue/glitch. I don't know why I was able to weld it and cut it. You should send some feedback through CCR so PC can check it out.
