Well, just checked the tracking on my package and it said it was delivered today. BUT it is nowhere to be found. Not at door, not in mailbox. What is wrong with the post office?! If I don't get them, then my idea is totally finished. Okay, will have to wait till my husband gets home from work to see if they handed to him and maybe he just hid them from me. I hope that is the case.

I am SO sick of this 90 degree weather!!!! Even the pool is almost 90. Not even worth it. I'd rather stay in with the AC on. Until my electric bill comes anywayBigGrin BigGrin

Hopefully it really does cool off this weekend.

ok this heat is the pits but worse is the storms we are getting every day. I mean really bad storms. I don't think my lawn furniture has been in the same place all summer. I am beginiing to think there is a ghost living on my front porch because every day i come home and one chair is somewhere it is not suppose to be..

Jean and COB don't melt stay cool.. and in a few months when we are complaining about the cold we can remind ourselves of this heat. LOL LOL

We haven't had any rain/storms in my area all week just HOT AND STICKY. Even though I've been watering twice a day anything not hardy has died anyway. Yesterday I took pool water over to be tested and the guys says " this is WARM, when did you get the sample blah blah blah" I just got it 10 minutes ago. He says "No way, it's warm grump grump grump" I say the pool water is 88 degrees what do you expect?!? 20,000 gal bathtub!!

My elec bill last month was $83 which is a little high but we had just opened the pool so it made sense. I looked up this month's online last night since it hasn't come yet... $192!! ACK!

So....I have a question. The rules state that all 14 have to be the same....I understand that part, but if I am embellishing with say something with clock hands, do all the hands have to be the same....

No, they don'tBigGrin You can also use a different shade of paper if you don't have enough for all 14.

Your basic idea has to be the same for all of them.

COB-thanks for mentioning how much your elec bill is for this month...with us just getting AC on July 4th, I've been trying to guess how much our bill will go up with pool and AC. I think I'll budget your amount! lol (but I was hoping for $160 or less...)

My problem is that next month it is estimated....so it will be Sept before an actual reading is done....so my Aug. bill may be normal but my Sept bill will then be tripled with the AC for 2 months! lol

I thought weather was suppose to be cooler today...and we were suppose to get all kinds of storms yesterday...but NOTHING!!!!! NOTHING!!! So I have to go out and water plants yet again tonight.... and AC is cranking yet again today! Mom and I went to Sam's Club as I needed to stock up on everything....and I about passed out unloading my car....I'm so tired of this humidity! I don't think I could ever enjoy living in the South with their continuous stickiness.

I hope to work on these ATCs this week!

Even with all the storms we have had it the humidity is still so bad.. it might cool down for about an hour and then back it comes.. grrrrrr..

I am going to work on these this week.. Got most of the office move done so now if I could just get the phone company to cooperate and move my number I would be one happy lady.

So i am going to enjoy a lazy night and then get back to crafting tomorrow.

COB I remember when we had our pool.. (which I miss very much) we would actually pump water out and add new water just to get the temp down, but we are on unmetered water so i was ok.

"And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

Hope we have all ceased to remain tight in our buds, and have moved on to having the confidence to truly blossom. With JeanP guiding us along the way, I am sure we can all achieve this by the end of our swap.

Well hopefully tomorrow I can finish them and start the next one.

I have the Pumpkin ATC's finished and started the Vintage Apple....still trying to work on the leaves.

Thank goodness out heat wave broke. We still have high humidity, but with 82 degrees, it is quite bearable.
