I am a newbie to the Cricut mini. I would love to make the fourth of July luminaries, but the
directions are horrible. I cannot download the file either. Can anyone help me with detailed
directions? Thank you so much!

Try using a different internet browser to download the file. I've read that people have had success using Explorer but it's hit or miss with Firefox or Chrome.

Once you have the pieces, I think the assembly is fairly straightforward. Assuming you know how to make a rosette.
