My gypsy for some reason, all of a sudden, is disconnecting itself while cutting. It does this on my baby bug and my Imagine. I haven't dug out my big E but I'm sure it will do the same thing with that one too.

I updated it and had trouble with sync connecting with it too. I figured that I had better uplink my carts to CCR in case my G has to be serviced or replaced. That took about 3 minutes for 300+ carts to link - very fast.

After updating, it did work on both machines. I turned it off and just now created something to cut and again it disconnects while cutting. I have tried 3 different cords but that didn't help, but I'm thinking it's the plug from the gyspy to the cord for cutting.

Very frustrating. I had to have to dig out all of my carts so may have to see if I can make CCR work with my baby bug. Won't chance it ruining my Imagine.

Well this may come from a duh moment I had but did you check to see the time out on your gypsy. I bought a used one and it kept shutting off. I checked the time out page and it had like 15 seconds on it. I reset it and it is fine now. Another duh moment for me .. I had used it like crazy and when i went back to cut it out it kept shutting off .. battery low. I know I may just be a 'duh' person but
sometimes us crafters forget to check the easy stuff first.
