Why in the WORLD would cricut close down all of its phone and online support for a meeting? It seems very unprofessional. Anyone else run into this?

I don't agree with it either. Anywhere I have worked, they always kept at least one person from each dept back to keep things going. I can't believe no one was at least answering the phones.

I worked for a company that had meetings like that, but they met with one group at a certain time & the remainder at another time! Maybe they have big news to share when they get out of the meeting like a new Gypsy with a bigger screen or that they have finally found a way to make everything work perfectly!

I'm thinking it may be something to do with the circle. Nothing has been announced yet and most accounts expire in about 2 weeks.

They posted on FB {yes, I know not everyone goes to FB} that it was a company wide town hall meeting.

Cricut - The Official Page!
Hello to our Crafty Customers! I hope you are having a wonderful day! We just wanted to let you know that Customer Service will be attending a Company Town Hall Meeting this afternoon between 11:00 am and 1:30 pm, so our phone lines will be off during this time. It is a great opportunity for us as a company to get together and discuss all things Cricut. After the meeting it will be all hands on deck to meet all your crafty needs! In the meantime take the opportunity to take a look at the web site www.cricut.com, there are some great tools in the support section!

Hello all! Yes, we do occasionally close for company wide meetings. As do lots of companies both large and small. Fortunately for our customers, these meetings only take a few hours out of the day!

That's not really all that unusual actually, lots of companies I deal with do the same thing.

CricutGena, I wish I was a fly on the wall at one of your meetings! Wink
