Hello all! I'd like to get a Cricut machine sometime soon. I had pretty much settled on a Mini because it's cheapest. Then, I saw the refurbished Expression in the online shop for $89 which is less than I'd pay for a Mini through Amazon.com. I like that I could use 12x12 paper with it. So many of the projects I want to try in the Project Center are sized for the Expression.

But then I started reading about the troubles people are having with updating the Expression firmware and how you need to have a PC. I only have a Mac with no access to a PC. I've been using Craft Room on my Mac, just playing around with it, for the last week or so and it works fine. I'm guessing this is the machine's internal software that needs updating, right? Is it because the Expression is an older product that people are having problems? The Mini's description says it works with a Mac or PC.

So I'm not sure if it's worth getting the Expression if I won't be able to use it. Any opinions?
