CCR FILE AND SCREEN SHOT OF HOW TO MAKE IN CCR AND LINK TO VIDEO HAS BEEN ADDED IN A FURTHER POST BELOW.

Jessie inspired me to try and create an accordion card with my gypsy using the basic font and shapes free cart. I used my gypsy, but you could use CCR.

This was a test to see if it could be done and to test for changes that should be made. I did it by welding together 4 rectangles to make a frame that were 5.5" by a half an inch and then adding a tab on one side to glue together. I then added a couple of the labels from the free cart and welded with little rectangles to the frame and the label.

Visit Jessie's Accordian Card post to get the link for instructions on how to put together.

If I can perfect, I may use this for my Christmas card this year (like Jessie), using nativity scenes for each part.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Mary

I attached the gypsy file. I was not able to import it into CCR, but maybe you will be able to.

I've had some questions on how to make the card and also the link to the video on how to put the card together. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VicWEFIQRHM

I created a sample in CCR. Nothing is grouped together, so if you move it around the mat, it may come apart. I didn't have a lot of time to spend to create it, but it gives you an idea of how to create the pieces of the card. The label is the shadow feature and I used the non-shadow layer to cut what goes on the inside of the label after the card is put together. The only score I did was along the edge of the tab. I think in the video she makes more scores, which may make the pieces a little more flexible when you open the card. You'll need to do some experimenting.

If you make a card, please post it and let us know what changes you had to make to use in CCR.
