I was given 2 packs of Cricut cake blades. Can these blades be used in the regular Cricut and/or expression?

Thanks in advanced for any guidance you can give me

1st I am sure they will fit into the housing but the cake blades are made for cutting fondant and not paper therefore they are not sharp a paper blades - they are kinda rounded off so to peak. I am thinking maybe they might (and have not tried this) maybe they would emboss the paper- that is if they did not just tear it. Just a thought. BJR.
