Is there any way to be able to select all my letters to copy and paste a complete word?

Let me try to explain a bit.......I'm working on some Christmas cards, I don't care for the letters for the words Season's Greetings that my Christmas cart has; so I am using black letter to make my own words and I'm welding my letters together.

Now here is my problem.....I have the words Season's Greetings on my CDS mat exactly the way I want them, but only once. I would like to be able to select all of the letters (both words) and copy and paste them all over the canvas so I can cut more than one at a time. But, after I have selected all the letters one by one then click copy/paste, only the last letter I selected gets copied and pasted.

So is there any way to get my complete words copied and pasted so I don't have to keep doing it all letter by letter and welding them together several times on my canvas?

Afraid not. Design studio never had a true grouping feature. And now that it has been discontinued it never will. Your only choice is to copy and paste the letters one at a time.

Or you could try CCR which does have a grouping feature. Cool

You can do that, but you have to type the word as one. Design Studio will auto group together. You have to use the nudge buttons to move the letters close to each other to weld. When you have it the way you want it, select the word and copy/paste. The whole word will copy/paste. If you don't type the word as one, but say click on the mat and type one letter, then click somewhere else and type another letter, the word will be considered separate images and will not copy/paste as a whole. I typed qwerty all as one image and was able to nudge and then copy/paste. I typed qwe as separate places on the mat, moved together and welded, and copy/pasted. Only the E was pasted.

Nudge is annoying because it moves a tiny space at a time and it can take a bit of nudging to get things where you want. However, it is a work around.
