im just wondering if the cricut create is able to cut fabric or felt please xx thanks

In theory, yes. I have been able to cut only very simple images successfully....nothing intricate. If you google "cutting felt with cricut" you will see lots of advice. Read it all before you try would be the only advice I'd add to it. ;) Good luck.

Yes, I've cut fabric. Nothing thick, just cotton. And you must adhere to stabilizer. Because we were ironing them on, we used Heat 'n Bond. Worked Great!

I've cut fabric and felt successfully on my Cricut - my tips would be:

  • better quality felt will give better results (I use at least 25% wool felt) and multi cut it twice

  • use a sharp blade (I have a blade that I only use for fabric/felt - and I NEVER cut paper with it)

  • a stabiliser is essential - I use Heat 'n Bond Ultra. I iron it on to the felt or fabric and then remove the backing before placing it (with the Heat 'n Bond side down) on my sticky mat
