One of my Cuttlebug folders will not emboss the way it should... I got it to work one time and now when I try to emboss with this folder it does not leave a deep embossing... I have many other folders that work just fine but this one... doesn't. I use the A then B then folder with paper and then the other B... the same set up I use for all my other folder and yet with this one folder it does not come out with that nice deep emboss... Does anyone have any ideas out there that I can try ? The folder is "Winter House" #37-1896 a winter village scene. Thanks !!

Here's an update on this problem...

After many trials and errors I finally figured out what was wrong...

The folder was not lining up correctly..

The top fold was off and the two sided were not lining up evenly together...

I fixed it and it now works perfectly...

How did I fix it... well I cut the top fold off and separated the two sides. Then I lined up the two sides and used some scotch tape to hold it together at the bottom... I made sure the two sides lined up correctly and ran it through my machine... Once I got the deep cut I so desperately wanted and expected it... I taped it again at the bottom with some clear packing tape. It's now working just the way it was intented to work even though it doesn't look the same !! Perhaps there is a simpler solution but this worked for me.

glad you came up with a remedy and solution for the Winter House cartridge. How about posting pic of what you made with the folder?

Hi Kiethann - "Winter House" is one of my favorite folders of all time...here are a few pictures of cards I have made with it. And yes , your sides have to line up perfectly to get a proper emboss....but I have never had one that was not lined up properly unless it was bent by a machine. (which has only happened a few times when using the Tim Holtz Vagabond machine.)
