I am on my way to Michaels to see if I can find supplies for my layouts. Looks like we are going to be doing 20. So excited. this is going to make a great christmas present for my sister in law. She bakes lots of cookies for Christmas gifts.

Thank you ladies for joining.
Please email me your addresses and recipes so I can check them.

Luvskrapin, we do have a mint cookie on the list, so if you could find something else, that would be superSmile

No trouble at all!!!!

If you have a thread Tagged as favorite, you can click on MY TOPICS at the top of the page. Then you will need to click on FAVORITES
This will bring up all your tagged threads. You do need to sort by hour, day, since last visit or all.
Hope that helpsBigGrin

Just a couple things before you start your pagesSmile

1. As long as your design and recipe are the same for each of the 20 pages, you can use different paper if you need to. This is all Christmas themed so use appropriate colors of paper. Beige/tans are good if you are going for the vintage look on your page.

I know it might be hard to have enough of 1 color paper to make these so.....
You can Google something like "free scrapbooking Christmas paper" and you can usually just print out some.BigGrin No cost other than your time and ink.

2. I have given you plenty of time(10 weeks) to do a good job on these recipe pages so please don't just type out the recipe, slap it on the paper and add a few stickers! Everyone wants something nice especially if they plan on giving them away as gifts.Smile
I find that inked edges on everything gives it that "finished" look. It takes away that white edge and also adds dimension. Keep the little things in mind especially your spelling!!!!

3. If you decide to change your recipe for some reason, let me know asap because I may do a cover page for everyone and I would hate to have to redo it or wait until the last minute!!!!

That being said, you can mail these to me any time. I have a spare room that I keep them in.
So let's have some fun putting these together.

Thanks
Jean

i have my base done , layers put together, and recipe printed out. Put together my "prototype" but I am not happy with it. All I can say is wow 6x6 is more of a challenge that I thought. There just isn't much room. Back to the drawing board. Glad there is still a lot of time leftBigGrin

I agree - 6x6 is harder then 8x8.

Border punches sometimes come in handy as it adds a layer without needing a lot of space. lol

I didn't actually craft last night and pull out papers but I sat down and thought about ideas for my design and grabbed my ruler to measure and visualize some ideas. This weekend I plan on getting first one made so that I can then work on getting the other 19 all cut and ready to assemble as I have free time watching the new TV shows that will be starting up in another week or two! lol

I am printing the background paper for my pages as I do not have anything I like out of all the paper I have, and I refuse to buy some. I am on a self imposed crafting diet....spent too much lately on craft supplies, not to mention what I bought from Kelley. LOL

Checking in. I need a shorter recipe!LOL I didn't think about 6X6 being so small. I had everything designed in my head, typed & printed out the recipe & went to do a prototype layout. Whoops- not enough room! So now I'm trying to decide how small I can make the recipe & still have it readable & have room for a few embellishments so the page looks nice. Wish me luck.Smile Merrie
