OMGosh- I would have no problem with this swap! LOL I seem to collect cartridges and have more than I care to admit to. My philosophy is, even if I don't need it now, I may need it 'some day'- so I better get it while I can. Then, the poor cart sits neglected with my other carts. I keep saying I am going to make at least one thing from each cart, but it never happens. How about making cards? Birthday, masculine birthday, thinking of you, etc. Smile

I would love to do a swap where we have to use a cart or cuts that we have never done before. honestly though, out of my 75 carts, there are maybe 2 or 3 that I haven't used.

My envelope is going out today.

I am looking forward to all the pages and new recipes I can try...I just returned from the grocery store and somehow 6 different kinds of baking chips (milk chocolate, white chocolate, peanut butter, heath, semi-sweet choc.,and dark choc.) found their way into my bags! Good thing they were on sale, they must know some holiday baking is coming up!Love

If you want the recipe, just LMK & I'll send it to you. It makes a big batch, so I always cut it in half. BigGrin

PS Cookies for today were Almond Macaroons & Scandinavian Almond Bars. Had to stop after those cause I got a call to substitute teach this afternoon.

Hi Jean- yes I do. Then, whenever I need some cookies, I just pull them out. I take in big trays for the teachers at the two schools that I substitute teach at & mail them to my sons & brother & sister-in-law. My problem is, I can't just make 1 recipe for a flavor, I have to try multiple recipes cause they all sound good to me! LOL Smile

I start mine the 2nd week in Dec and get them done over a 2 week period. This year I think I have 15 different kinds but may have to do a couple more once I get all the recipesLOL LOL
I bake according to which ones freeze bestBigGrin I take out all the ones I need to frost/decorate a day before I do my assembling.
I give to my neighbors, relatives, friends and some others. Every year I say I am not doing it because of the cost and work involved, but so many people look forward to their cookies that I can't stopBigGrin

LOL. That sound like me. Every year I say I will cut back (and I have, I used to make 50-60 different kinds, now I try to keep it to 30-40LOL)and my DH says to stop (he no longer takes them into work). But the teachers start asking me in September about the cookies and I have to admit, I love baking.... so every year I do it. I make sure my recipes are all 'freezable' and have 'theme days' where I bake certain flavors so I can freeze them together if necessary & not have the flavors contaminate each other. So far have had peanut butter, almond and pecan days. Think I will do ginger/molasses next.Smile

WOW you do make lots!!!!! I try and find recipes that make lots of cookies. I have one that makes 12 dozen and they are good. Kind of like the Pecan Sandies you can buy but they also have toffee bits. My favoriteBigGrin DH loves the holiday oatmeal ones that I add cherries, coconut, nuts,& raisins to. I always have to make extras of those just for him.
I just found a recipe for a Cherry Pistachio refrigerator cookie that sounds yummy. Might have to try that one this yearBigGrin
Now I am getting hungryLOL LOL

Put mine in the mail today...via Priority...DC9405503699300120776792

I enclosed a Priority Mail return envelope with postage already on it. Not sure if you're going to physically go inside Post Office, but if you do, can you have them scan the label on the envelope so I can track it back to me. Thanks.

Yahoooo...... now all you ladies have me in the spirit to make cookies. Maybe I'll get started this week - i put them in the freezer as well.

I used to make them every year, and give out to friends, and now I only do a few --- the more I make the more I eat....which is not good, they go straight to the hips.
