Maureen

I TRY not to eat them as I am cooking but every now and then you have to make sure they taste good!!!!

Excited to get these back.

Trying to decide how I am going to put these together. I have a bind it all that is still in the box. Not sure I want to try it for the first time on these. I would hate to mess them up. How is everyone else binding them ?

Laura

You probably won't be able to bind these because of the way they are assembled. I bought a 6x6 album at the craft store to use for mineBigGrin

Hope you finally got them Jean. I'm putting mine in page protectors also. I don't think you would be able to bind the ones I made as I put the recipe pretty close to the edge, sorry.Blushing I didn't think about leaving room for binding until after I had them all put together.

I just found a recipe for a Cherry Pistachio refrigerator cookie that sounds yummy. Might have to try that one this yearBigGrin
Now I am getting hungryLOL LOL

Those sound good Jean- especially the ones with the toffee bits!Smile I go other way with recipes. I pick ones that don't make a lot or I cut the recipe in half. My thinking? That way I can make MORE recipes & not have so many cookies to eat- LOL. The Cherry Pistachio one sounds good too- made me remember a Pistachio one I haven't made in couple of years- Pistachio Party Pleasers. Only 4 ingredients & looks pretty on a cookie tray- light green. So of course I had to make them.LOL Looking forward to getting the new recipes & trying them out.Smile Merrie

Have you ever made the little wreaths using mini marshmallows and corn flakes? They actually taste pretty good, come out cute, and add nice color to a cookie tray.

No, I have never tried that. Something I did make growing up (& I continued the tradition for my boys when they were in school) was making Rice Krispie wreaths. My mom started making them with my oldest brother, who is now 70. You make Rice Krispie treats, add green food coloring & put them in small circular jello molds. After they set up for a few minutes, you remove them, decorate with cinnamon redhots for the berries & a small red bow. We would take them into school & the kids loved them & looked forward to them every year. Great memories!

All packages are postal (except one).

I am in the early stages of a head cold so I don't feel like typing in all the DC#'s this afternoon.Blushing

I do have them all and most packages should arrive no later than Thursday. Weird that one can be in TX in 2 days yet NC takes 3. Some places must be more remote than others

Hopefully they all arrive safely.

ENJOY

Received my pages today, gorgeous. I did however notice an error on MY page. Despite redoing it twice, I left out the eggs. It takes 2 large eggs. I can redo the pages if everyone wants to PM me their address, or just write in 2 large eggs. I am so sorry ladies. Too much on my mind I guess. My sincere apologies.....
