I have a cricut expression 2. i am trying to cut small letters (1") on vinyl. the vinyl is bubbling up and it seems to not want to cut that small. any suggestions?
also, i would like to do a monogram where the letters are together and maybe a circle around the letters. i cannot seem to find a cartridge for that. the mini monogram cartridge doesn't look like it has that feature.

By bubbling up, do you mean the vinyl is pulling away from the backing sheet? Or the backing sheet is pulling away from the mat? I usually use a brayer to make to my vinyl is well stuck to the mat. I've cut really small initials without problems. These are ear buds I added vinyl initials to for my nieces and nephews. The place where the initials are is about the size of a quarter.

I use a blade setting of 3 and a pressure setting of low.

As far as the monogram, you would need to use one of the Cricut design programs to weld the letters together. Then, you could either use a circle frame or make one using two circles that you size one to fit inside the other.
