I went into Michales to see about ribbon storage, just getting some ideas.

And I found Anna Griffin embossing folders and cuttle bug folders for sale..got 'em

Then I saw the Creative Card cart on sale....got it.

Then I saw a spellbinder (or 2) on sale....got the zig zaggy square.

Whew I think I am done.

I want to go back tho....help me be a good girl. Tell me I don't NEED them!

sorry can't talk you out of going back to get more goodies. I took my neighbor yesterday to JoAnns and ended up buying goodies for my self. Found a really pretty blue lacy ribbon on the clearance aisle for 50 cents a yard, however when the lady scanned the spool, it showed 25 cents a yard. so instead of buying 4 yards, I went ahead and bought the whole spool. LOL. so as you can see, I am not the person to talk you out of it! Then we went to HL because she wanted to look at flowers. OOPS me bad, all spare parts embellishments etc were half price plus I had a 20% off entire purchase coupon. PLEASE HELP ME...is there a scrapbookers spending anonymous help group out there?

Okay I'll try to help ...you don't NEED them! Having said that, I'm in the same boat as you and it appears we're both sinking...LOL

A Michael's opened up about 7 minutes from my house...Wub Wub Wub ...so not only am I in 7th heaven...but I'm going to hell for all the money I spent. OMG in one week I spent over $150.00 everything was on sale and I used coupons. There are no craft stores within 45 miles from my house so I went craft crazy at M's. Love, love, love M's and it's great knowing I can get what I need within 10 minutes. HEELLLLLLLPPPP!

Best, Mary R.

I really feel for all of those who don't have a Michaels. a hobby Lobby and AC Moores all in one area on 3 corners of the street. Too bad Joann's isn't on the 4th corner...but its about 20 miles down the road! It use to be exciting to have all of them until I realized I was spending all my retirement money at them. So Now I avoid that area like the plague!! Oh the memories of my daily visits to M's. Sneaky

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE tell us where and how you got a 20% off total purchase coupon for Hobby Lobby. That is the ONLY craft store in my town. I have to drive at least 50 miles for anything else. I spend a fortune in that place. If I could get my hands on a coupon like that I'd..............well, I wouldn't tell my husband about it, that's for sure!

Thanks for all the nice postings. But I am still going back. LOL.

You can get those Michaels coupons on line and at their store sometimes.

I made my first card from the Create a Card cart and WOW it cut so nicely. That was $21.00 well spent! Think of all the money I saved!!!!

I love your cards, southgirltexas!! They're really cute/beautiful! I have been thinking about getting that cartridge for a long time, but I keep passing it by. You have given inspiration; luckily, though, all the big stores are 45-minutes from me, too. We only go to the "big stores"/"the city" once or twice a month.....and, we've been trying to hold it down to once a month, lately. It seems there are always so many other things coming up that takes the money in other directions; so, we have been trying to curb our expenditures to get ready for the holidays.
