And this is just a friendly reminder to remember that you must have atleast THREE directives be actual projects - ideas more involved then just making a card or tag or diecut.

For the newer members in this swap - this swap is definitely a little more involved then many of the other "word" or "verse" swaps. This swap is your chance to alter a photo frame, or make a mini album or make a banner or make a tissue box cover or anything that is more then just a single flat piece of paper. (reminder: there is a list of ideas in first post)

No, all 20 directives won't be major projects, we'd need a year to complete! But like I said, atleast 3 items must be more involved. Most of you will do more then 3 as you have participated in this Christmas swap each year, just make sure you find the time to get 3 nice projects made for your SS.

Thanks!

I have 6 things left to make and 2 that I think I will be buyingBigGrin

I have been working on one item for 3 days straight and I am still not doneLOL This was more involved than I first thought it would be but I LOVE how it is coming together. I think my SS will alsoBigGrin

So glad I got a head start on this one. DH has to have a procedure on Friday and guess who gets to play nursemaid? DD is coming on Sunday to help, and according to the surgeon he should be up and about and able to do things for himself by Tuesday. I will have the 2 boys here and no major lifting involved, so we will be fine. Just the anticipation is annoying.

ok don't know if these are right, but here's my guess
1-#9
2-#5
3-#16
4-#12

I'm pretty much done, I have it all packed up and trying not to mess with it, I am hoping my SS will atleast like a few of the things I made for her.

Hope everyone is having a great day!!!

I'm about half way done with this swap. But have run into a little slow down as my daughter asked me to help her with some baby shower favors so need to work on them instead as the shower is the 16th.

Oh well, that is what mothers are for.... lol

jci wanted to spend last sunday crafting but decided to lift a trailer at work Saturday wrong and think I pulled a muscle in my back so I spent sunday resting instead so I could go to work Monday! so I have good intentions on getting a really good start on this this weekend as I know we are at the 1 month from due date this weekend! I have printed out all the directives as well as my ss mq and the answers to questions here! have some good ideas floating around in my head now to just get them put together! I signed up for a workshop that is making a lot of things I can use for some of the different directives here and that will put me ahead as well! hope everyone has a wonderful crafty weekend!

I'm just checking the MB, and then I am off to craft my little heart away!

BTW, I found myself starting to hum or sing under my breath Christmas songs as I was working on one of these projects this past week.

Has anyone else caught themselves humming a Christmas tune while crafting one of these directives?

I still have some laundry to do before I head into my craft roomCrying Just finished up business paperwork and some cleaning.

Not humming but I think one of our local radio stations has started with their 24 hours of Christmas music. Usually they wait until Thanksgiving!!!!!

I am finding that as I do these projects, I need to go to the craft storeSmile I don't have the perfect embellies for a couple of them!!!! I have set them aside until I find that perfect somethingBigGrin BigGrin Need to check my attic because I might just have something up there in all those boxes. WAY to cold up there right now thoughOhMyGod Scared

I am going to try one project that is still in my head. Hoping I can get it to look like I know what I am doingLOL LOL

I am not humming Christmas carols yet, but have a Bing Crosby CD in and have Baby it's cold outside running through my brain. LOL

I've had a great day of crafting! first I completed a simpler directive and then I went back to work on one of my more major projects and it's 95% complete.

A good feeling to get one of my major projects out of the way!

well jeepers! That sneak peek doesn't give me much to guess on! That's what you call a real teaser!

That aside, are you attaching your pictures in a different way from the past? When I clicked on the picture to hopefully get a bigger view of it, it was just this tiny little thumbnail snapshot! And something about downloading it.... It was totally different then anything I've seen before on this here MB!

SO is it something new you did Candy? Or has the MB been changed in some way recently?

Always something changing around here! lol

Thanks for the update status report Candy!
