I made this paper doll for my niece, and I created a whole binder for her to store her paper dolls and clothes in.

vinyl paper doll

I even made a necklace for her out of the vinyl and Viva Decor!

How cute! Since they're made of vinyl, are the clothes/dolls interchangeable? Very good idea!!

YES! I cut several different hairstyles for this doll, so my niece can change them out.

I also did several dresses

and "technically" it is not vinyl, it is a product called Square 1 Masterpiece. It is an adhesive backed fabric that is repositonable. So my niece can change out these outfits over and over again! (it is just easier to say vinyl since that is what people compare it to)

Very cute! Reminds me a lot of the old Colorforms I used to play with! Love

I was TOTALLY thinking "make your own Colorforms" when I did this, but I did not know how many people would remember Colorforms BigGrin

If you want to go back and check out ALL of my projects with Square 1 you can go here

http://craftychicsblog.b.../search/label/square%201

Lots of them would work for traditional vinyl too, but I really like Square 1 for projects you KNOW you are going to want to move around or take down (kids rooms, holiday decor) or for things where you want to do custom colors or logos . . . I did one with a school logo on it and they were able to put it on the wall above the doorway at the school. Or for a brick wall where putting a nail in the wall to hang something would not work.
