Sometimes when working on a card I feel like I don't put enough details and elements onto the card. Glare I'm not sure why I feel like that. I think it might be because I want to make cards with several layers, that look like a planned mess. Laugh

Do you ever feel like your cards or layouts are not as detailed as you would like them to be?

How to fix this conundrum?BigGrin

I sometimes feel like this also. Adding a small detail like a brad or using a bit of glitter or shimmer paper can add a lot to a project. When in doubt remember less is not always more! Sometimes simple is just plain better. Everyone has a different style.

Do you use markers, Jooniper? I love the look on my cards when I use the markers. I LOVE using them.

Happens often to me. I've learned to come back later and have a new look at the project or just call it finished.Laugh

I always feel that way, which is why I rarely post a project here. But simple is my style--otherwise I'd never finish anything!

I frequently put together a card and then think, oh, I should have inked it someplace or cuttlebugged something and so on and so on. So my answer to your question, YES!

I think this on all most all my cards. and it's too late so then I just throw a little stickles on it somewhere.

Yes, I have a couple of the markers that came with my deep cutting blade housing. They are brown and black, but have never thought to use them. Hmmmm.

In my head my cards I think up have oodles of layers... Ribbon, lace, glitter, lots of elements, but it hardly ever transitions over. I guess it just isn't my "style" no matter how much I would like it to be. Glare

I was thinking of doing card "bingo". Where there is an element or detail in each bingo square and you choose your winning row and then you use those elements, details, or techniques on the card your making. Seems like a good way to use things you have but not think to use until after you finished the card. LOL

I might try the "bingo". BigGrin

I would load me up, but... I just have an indecisive problem. It's gotten better, my indecisiveness, but it's still there. Blink Blushing

I tend to "load up" on my cards, too. My own sister told me one day......"I just don't like it; it's way, way too busy"!! Well, I don't tend to make cards for her. I have a stepson who doesn't like the look, either. BUT, I do like it. I like to "load up" on my cards!

I hope you find a happy solution, Jooniper. Guess I need to work on this myself!
