I know not of these skittles you speak of; like the plastic pearl bling but individual pieces? I already have my design worked out and in progress but need a Plan B just in case it turns out to be unnecessarily obnoxious...

Here are the "pearls" and then skittles. I think they are called pebbles on some website Found them a few years ago at Michael's and everyone went nuts buying them.
They came in four colors I think but if you used the clear ones you could make your own colors by throwing them in a baggie and adding alcohol inks. You can also use a marker on the bottom to match your project. Want some???? I have thousands!!!!!!!!!

Oh okay, I had rec'd. some of the skittles in a color swap once and had no idea what they were LOL but the pearls are like what I was trying explain and I have some so if the idea I'm working with doesn't I'll use pearls and just color them. Thanks though!

I just need to spray my ATCs with some mist this morning and then they are complete!

I'm so happy to have these done early so that I can move on to my swap and not feel so rushed!

I never used a sewing machine on cards before, do you need a special needle what setting would you use?

I just use my regular needle, (14 or red ones , not sure). Sometimes it helps to go slower, and make the running or zig zag stitch larger... Sometimes, I just use my hand to turn the wheel, so I have complete control. Not hard at all.

Well, good progress on these today. Assembled 3/4 of them. Have 1/4 area left to design. Narrowed the possibilities down somewhat. It's true, hardest part sometimes, making sure you have 16 of everything. (Just like COB said.)
