Last week I was using my E2 no problems, I ran an update and now when I try to conect my E2 to my laptop the laptop cant find my E2, I changed cords nothing, the USB port is working just fine and laptop recognizes other items plugged into USB port? I.T. tech looked at computer and cant figure it out...any suggestions? Hoping to get home tonight to call Cricut Support I wish they were open just a little bit later...Crying

I'm curious, did you get your E2 to hook up to your laptop? I tried to update mine and it doesn't recognize it being hooked up...and my usb is working also.

I'm not sure why they don't post the info all over the message boards, but if you updated your laptop to Windows 8.1 or the latest Mac OS, CCR will not work, making your E2 unusable without physical cartridges. Under the section for the CCR on the message boards, there is a post about it, but it really needs to be posted everywhere.
