Hello ladies,
Hubby and I are traveling to NJ this weekend for a Marching Band competion on Saturday, so I was wondering if there are any unique/different (I have HL, Js and AC in town here) craft stores in the area.
Or anyone else going there? My kids don't go on until 10:40p ouch. Hope this ole' broad can stay awake till then.

Whenever I go out of town, I just google to find scrapbook/crafting stores. If there are any in the vicinity, sometime you get lucky enough to get directions, email address, and maybe a blog address. Then I let my husband knowBigGrinthat I printed out the directions because, of course, we will be near a scrapbooking store during our travel. Have fun, and good luck, with the competition.

I live about 10 minutes away from Rutgers ( I live in North Brunswick but I'm close to the border for New Brunswick )There is a Michaels not 5 minutes from my house as well as a family owned scrapbooking store a town over (Milltown)It's called Scrappers Cove and they have a website. It's run by 2 sisters and their mother... Sue, Chris & Pat Smile I only live about 10 minutes away from Milltown so everything is a short distance from where you'll be . I hope this helps I wish your kids much luck in the competition ! BigGrin

Thanks so much for the info on the Scrappers Cove.
I had the chance to get over there this past Saturday, and do some damage on my credit card. Hubby was kind enough to tell me to go, but not kind enough to give me HIS credit card! Glare BigGrin
I got to meet both Chris and Pat that morning, and they were so sweet!
Thanks for sharing the information with me, I'll try to attach photos.

Oh by the way our kids placed 4th in their division (out of 4).There were some amazing bands there, and I have to say Immaculate was my favorite.
And the Rutgers Stadium was very impressive, easy in and out and the location to where we were staying at was super easy.
Thanks again for the info Lori!

Barbie,

Congratulations to your kids 4th place win! The stadium was built a few years back and they call it the "RAK" BigGrin I'm so happy you got to go to Scrappers Cove ! Since it's family run it's got a cozier feel to it & of course the family who owns it is wonderful! You got to meet 3/4 of them lol . Hope you got plenty of stuff that you wouldn't be able to find elsewhere Smile
