We are getting ready for a backyard halloween party on our deck and I worked this past weekend decorating the windows in our sunroom that face the deck. The idea came from pinterest. Everything is cut from happy hauntings and chic and scary, and the wolf from camp out. I used ccr and had to use design studio for the haunted house and a few other larger cuts so that I could piece them together to get larger images. (I sure wish they would allow cutting when parts are outside the cutting mat in ccr like design studio. I used an off color cardstock that I had an over abundance of since everthing will be trashed afterwards. Doesn't look to good in the daylight but at least it is in my backyard so no one can see it from the road.

I still have french doors and one more window to do but I ran out of ideas and time so will have to think about it for a few days.

Anyway, not sure how these pics will show up since I took them in the dark. The inside of the windows is draped with cheep orange dollar store plastic table cloths giving the outside an eery orange glow when my sunroom lights are on. The last picture I used my flash so that you can see the full images better. It really looks cool at night much better than the pics show.

Great job. Last year I cut some with the cricut vinyl but it was a job to get off the window. I need to try it with paper.

When I first thought about doing this, I thought vinyl but figured it was to much trouble and would be terrible to get off. What I did was spray all the cuts with Elmers spray adhesive and let dry to where is was repositionable. When I tested by peeling back off, the adhesive stayed on the image so I don't think this will be too difficult to clean up. I sprayed the top of all of the orange table cloths as well to adhere to the window.

If I was decorating these for daytime interest, I would have cut everything out of black but I am doing specifically for a night time outdoor party so the color didn't matter that much although I will probably get sick of looking at it for the next 2 1/2 weeks.
