Hello. I am anxious to get started on my first vinyl craft and would like to cut out a Christmas saying and put on a Glass Block, and then put little white Christmas lights inside it. I'm sure many of you have seen this use of vinyl. I am wondering if anybody knows of a cheap place to buy glass blocks? I did see some at Hobby Lobby... seems like the bigger ones were $11.99 a piece and once in awhile, they have a 50% off sale, I believe. But wanted to see if anybody knew of any other suppliers.

Thanks for your time!

All of the craft stores have them in different sizes and I believe Lowes and Home Depot have them.

Lowes and Home Depot will have them but probably won't have the ones with the predrilled holes for stuffing light into. I noticed today at Hobby Lobby their's had holes in them and had like a rubber stopper type thing as well. If you don't catch them on sale there you could always use their 40% off one item coupon.

Actually, Home Depot does carry the blocks that have the holes! I think the brand they carry is DecoBlok - and they are awesome. Price is usually pretty good also

Hobby Lobby has KraftyBlok and DecoBlok. You can get more sizes in KraftyBlok.

Watch Hobby Lobby. They have them on sale for 50% off about every other week. They go fast - I order mine online since I am not close. Shipping is reasonable!!

I have not seen them in Home DepotUnsure but I got mine at Lowes and hubby drilled holes. They are half the price of Hobby Lobby or Michaels and glass is thicker because they're made for home improvement/decor not crafts. I like them betterWink
