Wondering if you can use any cricut to cut vinyl??? Looking to make some vinyl letters and what not for wooden signs and I dont want to have to buy a new cricut or a different machine to do this...HELP!!!

Which machine do you have? As Sherri said, any of them will cut vinyl, but you have to have to own the cartridge that you want to use, you can't use your own fonts, etc.

I like to make signs! I prefer the look of the matte vinyl - I use Oracal 631. For more permanant signs - use Oracal 651, it is glossy (although you might be able to find black and white in matte finish)

Make sure you let the paint dry on the boards for a couple days before applying the vinyl. You do not put anything over the top of the vinyl, such as sealer, etc...
