I joined in May, 2006 and was on the board all the time for a long time. "met" quite a few really great people and have gone to a lot of SWARMS. In fact, I attended the first SWARM in Owensboro, KY. Also attended some in Michigan, Indiana, and Florida. Met a lot of really great Cricuteers (including some from Canada). I don't get on so much any more, but hope to start checking in more often. I still love my Cricut. I have the original little one and the first Expression. I just purchased a reconditioned Expression as a "backup", so now I have 3 machines. The little one is set up for my granddaughter (who is 10 yo). I have a lot of cartridges and the Design Studio as well. I was so enthralled with the first little bug that I bought one for each of my 2 daughters and about 20 carts to go with each. (Not all at once, over a period of 3 years!)

Sorry none of us could get back to you.....sometimes, it's easier to start a NEW TOPIC so we see your SUBJECT and an idea what you're needing AND that you're wanting help ASAP, rather than ask us a question within someone else's post! I do realize, however, maybe you saw some people in on this post when you came in and were hoping to get a quick answer from one of them. Sorry none of us caught on.

You cannot cut with a CRICUT without the mat....well, not conventionally, anyway. I don't think it would be a good idea to try it any other way, either.

That's my opinion.

Char

I used to be totally active but then sort off dropped out. Two grandchildren moved in with me and that took priority above the scrapping. It was a nice break though and now I seem to be back excited about scrapping again. Just wrapping up last years trip to Ireland and then doing the two years ago trip to Jerusalem. Hopefully that will be done before this years trip to Switzerland, Germany and Austria. We like to travel!

I'm here. I will admit, I'm usually just a 'lurker'. But I did just post a card I made. Check it out and tell me what you think. I know it's pretty basic, but at the time I wasn't really going for anything elaborate.
