I want to embed my picture in my post, but it always ends up getting attached and it must be downloaded for viewing. How do I embed instead? Thx

Use the photo icon in the tool bar above the message box. It's the little mountain/sun. You copy the URL of the photo and then come to the MB, type your message and click the photo icon. A popup window will open and you paste the URL there. Like I did your avatar.

If the picture is too big it will be an attachment that has to be downloaded.

Just change the picture to a smaller size (paint or photo software) and it will show up in your post.

If you have a WINDOWS-based computer, PAINT is in most of our programs when we buy the computer.

Go to START and click on PROGRAMS. You should see the PAINT program. Click into it, bring up your picture on the screen and click on it to get the handles around it. THEN, go up to the top and RESIZE.

I usually just change the PERCENTAGE size and type in 80%. Do a SAVE AS and keep the name the same but add a 2 at the end of the name. This will let the picture save in your picture program in the same spot as your original picture (beside it, anyway) so it will be just as easy to find as your first picture. Go ahead and try to pull it in using the ATTACH FILES TO THIS POST and see if it shows up automatically (without us having to download). If not, go back and DELETE that picture and try again until you get it where you want it.

HTH.
