What cart are you using the make a box? There are lots of carts that have different box cuts on them.

Using the smaller machine you'd have to make smaller of course, so what is happening? I mean does it not cut? Need more information to be able to help, usually you just put in the size you want to cut and push cut. Which box are you trying to cut from that cart?

I have put boxes together, so I'll try. BUT, I'll warn you; I don't know the formal way to put the tablescapes boxes together; I'm winging it here.

Lay your image down with the outside of the box closest to the table and the inside of the image facing you.

See the tiny slits all around the outside of the image (probably 1/2"-1" in from the edges) all the way around the image?

Fold the first, longest side up (you might like to score from slit to slit all the way around the outside, to keep the folds straight) side of the box.

Now, turn the image around and fold the opposite side up.

Now, turn up the ends.

You should now be able to see where the flaps need to be folded in on each side. Those little flaps will go inside the end pieces they overlap. You can tack them inside those end pieces as you go.....or go ahead and tape them permanently.

I'm not sure I'm saying it so you understand it.

Is this helping you any? If not, sorry.

If you can download UTube videos, do a search for a UTube video on putting a box together. Maybe that will help; it's hard for me to understand someone just telling me something in the air....maybe the visual will help you better than how I told it to you.

Hope you figure it out. We would love to see it when you're finished with it.
