The Black Friday ad for Thanksgiving had the E for $129. That's even less than E-Bay has to offer. Do I purchase the E2 for $169 at J's or do I buy the E for $129. at Wal-Mart? Any thought's

I had a topic an hour or so ago. Sorry I slipped. The E2 is on sale the day before Thanksgiving for $169 at J's. And this add for Wal-Mart is for the day after for an E for $129.
Of course the $40. difference would be great, and I have an E already and would like this new one as my back-up. But, what do I do?????

I think it would come down to Do you use CCR. Cause along with the lower price at walmart it includes at $100 credit for CCR.

I am just not even going there, trying really hard to not spend and am ever so happy with my Expression(s)-a girl has to have back up right?? And I still use a create for quick card cuts in a jiffy.
I don't want to be tied to a computer when crafting, just not my style.
Love my Expression the best product they have EVER made.

This is my thinking also. If you use CCR it's one heck of a deal!

Even if you don't use CCR, it's still a great deal. You might be able to sell the $100 CCR offer to someone who LOVES CCR for say, 1/2 price? It's a great deal no matter how you look at it!!

The ones at Walmart are the original Expression. The ones at JoAnn's are the E2. The Cricut Craft Room is totally free to use. The $100 is for if you want to purchase digital cartridges to use with Craft Room rather than use physical cartridges. The E2 can be used without Craft Room the same way the original E is used. It just uses an electronic screen instead of a keypad. My question is are the Expressions at Walmart new productions or are they refurbished machines? And how long is the warranty on them? Personally, I already have both and rarely use my E2. In fact, I have all the Cricuts except the Portrait and my original Expression is always my go to machine. It's always dependable and I've never had a problem with it that wasn't my fault and I couldn't fix it myself.

As far as I know, WalMart has never sold refurbished, only new. The description on this one doesn't say refurbished and I've never before seen one that is white with blue lid, blue carriage and blue endcaps-the other blue one I've seen was blue all over. So I'm ASSUMING it's new. The Cricut website says warranty is: A warranty period of 1 year on electronic parts including motors, wiring, switches,
speed controls, LCD screens, and other electronic components; and 90 days labor. A
warranty period of 90 days on all non-electronic components. If a failure of a
non-electronic part occurs within 90 days of the original purchase date, PROVO CRAFT
will repair or replace the component. You will be responsible for returning the
component to PROVO CRAFT for warranty service (refer to page 2 for instructions about
shipping to PROVO CRAFT).

Thank you, Scootingranny, I tried to look that info up earlier myself but for some reason couldn't get to it. It just kept sending me in circles through the ad. They did at one time sell refurbished machines online at walmart.com and their warranty on them was only the 90 days...period. That was why I was cautious about it. But if the warranty is standard then I would assume they are new manufactures. I like the blue too and would love to have a back up but I just can't justify it right now.

WM sells new machines. Only PC and some of their ebay/online vendor companies sell refurbished. Legally, they have to tell you up front if you're buying a refurbished "anything" {Cricut, cell phone, printer, etc}.

So, for $129 you get a new E and $100 digital card. That really makes the Cricut cost $29. And that's a heck of a deal!

There's been some question on the green model that will be on sale at Joanns on Black Friday and hoping you can look at the package and let us know....

1. It says it includes a tool kit. Is it a new style tool kit or the older one?
2. It says it includes the $100 promo code for digital cartridge content BUT it shows two cartridges (Damask Décor and TBBM2) beside the green Cricut. SOOO....does it also include these two cartridges or are they shown just as a sample of what you could order digitally with your $100 promo code?

I am curious whether the Walmart Expression includes any cartridges. If PC wants to move more users towards using digital content, then selling the machine with ONLY digital content is a good move. But only if Craftroom is running smoothly. I still see so many complaints on here and on Facebook about the program.

I'd do a little checking before buying with the intent to sell the $100 image card. It might be linked/activated when you register the E {in which case, it would be added to the cricut.com account of the person who registered the E}. But maybe, the $$$ are obtained through a code that is entered in some promo field too claim them.

Good reasons to get a new E or backup your backup:

You are supporting the economy

You do not want your bug to be lonely Wub

It keeps you out of the bars

Ask him how many power tools he has, and how many of each?

It is a quiet little pet and really doesn't need much to care for it... well it doesn't - we do LOL

Its under half price and...................

So far, I have gleaned from the box that it is just the machine with no carts included. There is a 100 CCR credit advertised on the box. I will have to check for a "tool kit"

The great thing about this deal is Walmart and Joann are having the same deal on Black Friday. The only difference b/w the deals is the different color caps.

I don't know anything about 4 colors, just two...white one with blue accents at WalMart http://www.walmart.com/i...Expression-Blue/27661666 and a green one with white accents at J's http://i291.photobucket.com/albums/ll285/scootingranny/Fullscreencapture1112201335233PMbmp_zps6a293462.jpg

Both of those are for $129.00 with $100 promo code for digital images to use on CCR

and just found out the Expression 2 at Ms for $159.99 with French Manor--can't tell if it's the cartridge or digital image..

You might wanna think about the fact that there won't be any left on black friday when you get there to get the $129 one with the $100 digital credit. I know the great deals seems to be the first to go. I doubt I would be able to get one if I was at their door step when they opened and slept in a tent to be first ime line.

I sure don't remember where I saw it but some place is having teal colored Cricut machines. This is the first time I've heard of Teal being sold. I was surfing so much last night that I can't even remember which machine it was..could be the E, E2 or the mini.

I plan on being the first in line at both to see which I can get my machine at first. I enjoy doing crossword puzzles and figure I can sit in line and read or do puzzles to my hearts content. I am patient when it comes to waiting for sale things, I camped out in our family van for 3 early morning when the new remodeled J's first opened so I could get the $50 gift card each morning. It was funny as I was there by 4:30 A.M. each day. That was some fun money to spend!!!

I was at my local Joann a couple of days ago and saw a stack of Expression machines behind the counter. I could read on the front of each of them that they included the $100 digital credit. I assume these are for Black Friday. I counted eight machines.
