Are you sure you have plugged your CRICUT into the correct port in the back of your computer?
Have you gone to HELP in CCR to see if you need to add DRIVERS to your machine?
Are you able to get into CCR at all?

Can I try to help? Sometimes, we don't know where to start when we're trying to help you here.

Why don't you try this (short of calling PC, if you haven't already called them).

Do you have Internet Explorer on your computer?
What ANTIVIRUS software are you using?

If you don't have Internet Explorer downloaded on your computer, I suggest you do so. You can still use Google for EVERYTHING else, if you choose to do so, but I would download and/or use IE (if you already use it).

Unplug your MINI from your computer. REBOOT your computer. After you reboot, go ahead and plug your MINI back into the computer.

Sign in to CCR. Hopefully, you won't get the error messages. If you do, you may have to explore which antivirus software you are using.

If you try the above, let us know if it works or does not work and we'll try from there.

Hi,
I am also new to Cricut. Had the same problem. Realized I use Firefox and you have to use Internet Explorer. Downloaded and worked beautifully.
