I am having problems updating my Cricut Firmware using MAC with the latest Maverick OS. I'm not sure why I even need to update the Cricut as the update is for v 2.43 and when I power up my cricut, it shows that it is already at version 2.43.

If I perform the update anyways, it always fails at the third step when the machine is suppose to restart itself.

Any ideas? When will CCR work with the latest MAC OS?

Hello, the Craft Room is not compatible with the Maverick operating system. Please see the post above for further information on the issue.

I just ran into the same issue with my Cricut and had updated my MAC to Maverick earlier today. My Cricut has now been rendered useless as I use digital cartridges, if I had only known.

Are there any work arounds?

I called them on it almost two months ago. What recourse do we have? Better business?

I have to say I am extremely disappointed and angry.
I finally got around to using my cricut after moving, only to find that the movers had damaged it. In an effort to complete my Christmas Projects I spent $85 on overnight shipping on a brand new cricut….only it doesn't work either because of this stupid update issue. From what I'm reading this has been an issue for quite some time. I can only reiterate his disappointed I am that I went out of my way to obtain another cricut when I could have had a Shilloutte for less money and free overnight shipping. I might be sending this cricut back...

Hello, this issue described in the post has been resolved. If you are having difficulties you will need to uninstall Craft Room and the Adobe Air program and reinstall using the Mac 10.9 version of the software. I hope this helps.
