Ok below I copied and pasted from the project centers list of Cricut cartridges we can not post projects from because of copyright, ok, I get that, BUT LOOK! We have been asking for a Dora cartridge for 2 years now, we saw it once in CCR for a few hours only and it was gone forever. You Have it listed the list before but where does this cartridge exist? The kids I would have used it on are too big now, but I would have bought it in the past.

Melody, I have never seen that before and I can't even find it. What does it mean? Does it mean I can not publish layouts I make using those cartridges in magazines? Or that I can't share layouts I make here in the forums or on facebook to my friends and family? Or just that there will be no projects posted in the cricut project center that uses those carts?

This is the craziest thing I've ever heard! Huh

It's from the Project Center. Due to copyrights of the images on the licensed carts, you can't publish your projects using them in the Project Center.

The MB doesn't have that in the TOU.

FB apparently doesn't care about copyrights as anything and everything is posted there. I believe their TOU hold the individual responsible for any thing they post that may violate any law.

A magazine may decline to publish a project based on their own policies regarding copyrights. But, you can always submit a LO and see what the magazine says.

As for a Dora cart, I'm all in! Especially if they have the "grown up" Dora like I use for my avatar! BigGrin I'm sure the hold up is with Disney. They took forever to approve the images/cuts for Toy Story. {And, I don't blame them. Disney is a stickler about their characters and they wanted them to look just right before they signed off on them.}
