Hello y'all. I will be flying to Colorado tomorrow and will not return until Feb. 5th (family member having surgery). I will mail this swap upon my return. I may or may not have access to the internet (other than on my phone). At least I will be home in time watch HSN on the 12th!

Thanks for letting us know Miss Stamper...have a safe trip and God Speed !

I hope to finish my Valentine package by tomorrow and get it mailed early. I have lots of planning to do for the upcoming Easter Swap and I hope you will all join me for that. It will be a bit more involved and will take time, but Easter comes late this year so we should be able to get it all done !

I am so anxious to see all the goodies you girls have invented for this swap Woot Wub

Here is a sneak peek!!!! Finally figured out how I could get the picture to appear larger. Turns out when the scanner scans it picks up the white cover as part of the picture. I just do a preview and then drag the arrows to eliminate as much white as I can. Then I scan again.

Kiethannn....that looks like some really pretty papers !.

One hint on scanning...at least on the couple of scanners that I have, you first be sure to align your object into the top corner of the scanning field. When you preview, you use the adjustments to "crop" the area you wish to scan. When you scan it, it should only scan the area you have cropped and the image should be full sized. THen you save it as a picture in your documents file. It should then be a nice clear full size "photo" that you can play with. Of course, I know that not all scanners are "created equal" LOL Love

Appreciate that information. That was the way I used to do it. But when I had to uninstall and reinstall the scanner/printer the only option available was to put it in as flatbed scanner. Use to be I had icons to select what and were I wanted to scan, but now it does not even show that. It has been a trial and error process for me. I had to quit using photobucket because of the way the scans were showing up. So for now, I will use my "magic wand" errrrr or my mouse in other words to get a picture where more details show up.

You would think so. I tried finding the Brachs cinnamon hearts but no one seems to carry them. The closest I came was a package of gumdrop hearts but they were not cinnamon (at least the package did not say cinnamon on it. Just a little while ago, I found something I had bought to go in the package. Oh, My. Now I guess I will have to make a trip to the post office next week. bummer.

Really weird question (I hate to say it's a stupid question, but...)

Are we revealing ourselves in the card/package we send or afterwards on the MB?

No it is not a dumb question. There really is no way to keep the person from knowing who the package is from as you have to put a return address on the package. I even signed the card I made for my secret sister. We just are not supposed to post pics of what we are giving here on the forum, but is ok to post a sneak peak. I hope you are having as much fun with this as I am having.

Hi Everyone - Good question from Catita !! You will reveal your identity to your SS when she receives the package...and then your partner is supposed to post a photo of her items and then reveal to everyone else who her SS was ... Love
Sneak peeks are fine...just dont tell who it is for.
I was going to post a sneak peek, but as soon as I do, my partner will certainly suspect it is for HER and it will ruin the surprise - so I am not going to post yet....
Flapper Razz you all just have to keep wondering !! Wink

CricutCrazy you won't have to wait till next week. My Valentine package arrived today!! Thank you Catita was my secret swap sister. She sent me the most AEWSOME Valentine's card, two bars of chocolate, four sets of Jolees by You 3d stickers, and a Zig two way pen. Here are pictures of everything except the Zig pen. Thank you very much for everything. Love how you cut out my name and added it to the front of the envelope. LOVE everything. Can't wait to nibble on the chocolate, but just got home and it is kind of late to be eating chocolate right now.

Yay!!! I'm so glad you got it and like all the goodies. I was afraid all your snow this week would delay the delivery... then I worried it would somehow get lost! Crying

This was my first swap and it was so much fun. I just purchased a Cuttlebug and wanted to use some of my new folders. BigGrin So I used most of them. LOL

I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Happy EARLY Valentines Day! Love Wub Love
