If you could design a new Cricut Cartridge what would it be? I would design a recipe cartridge so i could make recipe towels and different kitchen things. I would also design a teabag holder box for the kitchen to put on the counter to hold my teabags. Just wanted to know if anyone else thinks about different designs for the cricut cartridges!!

Hmmm... a tie between a cart of Lilo & Stitch, and a cart with all 3-d flowers, like a cross between Flower Shoppe, the CTMH carts, and Giant Flowers

I'd like a blank cart that we could load all (or at least many) of our favourite images from other carts onto and have them all in one handy-dandy place. Or even just the images we want to use on a specific project. Guess it'd have to be a re-writable cart then. Sort of a drag-and-drop idea.BigGrin

Oh yeah...I'm liking this idea as I think about it. All those lovely images I see as I leaf through the handbooks but aren't quite what I'm looking for at that moment? I'd put those all onto that cart. Then they'd all be there in one spot for the next time I'm looking for inspiration. I suppose they'd have to come with all their various function buttons and layers too.

I'm all for more licensed carts too--MINIONS!! and a different "flavour" or style of Heritage cart (genealogy!)...less playful, more elegant perhaps. With a lovely tree we could do in vinyl and put on our walls. *sigh*

Good question! Nice day-dreams I just had. LOL

Craft and hobby related images. Sewing, knitting, photography, pottery, stamping,,painting etc...... And my second choice would be beautiful REALISTIC nature scenery. Like to use as backgrounds. I hate the cartoonist trees and plants that are on most of the carts.

I would like a cart with drawing tools or open ended shapes so swing cards could be made more easily. Also a thin cart for using pens only with.

Great question. Thanks for asking.

That patent that was floating around the board described software that seemed to allow the user to organize images in their own collections. I would LOVE that option.

My number one wish from Cricut is a Disney World themed cart. (Maybe they could do Disney World and Disneyland together?)

I'll admit cutting the Walt font was the number reason I got another machine.BigGrin

I think the idea with more pens is a great suggestion. I think some cards with sayings that you can use pens to write them in. Also I think cards that had pockets or sleeves so you can fill them with teabags or use them as a money gift holder or gift card. Also cards that you can put little lip balms in. There is alot of good ideas here. Now if we could convince the design team to use some of them would be great!!!

I would like more elementary school images and bulletin board theme ideas. Science like life cycle, rock cycle, water cycle, body parts and bones and systems. Also solar system. I would like telling time, measurement and so on. I would also like more for high school and sports.

There is one with body parts, I think, maybe it's digital only, and I know there is a Solar System in craft room exclusives. Telling time would be easy to make on your own with a circle and numbers and arrows you could possible stretch out. A measuring cup would be a good idea with an amount to put in it, like have a cut for 1/4 cup, 1/2 cup and so on that would be good for recipes also. Quarts and pints too, and the words.

What would you like for high school? They have teen scene that looks like teenagers, has prom dresses and graduation gowns and more. There are also many sports cartridges.

I am only responding to this to let you know there are some like you are asking for but maybe those are not what your looking for. I think the designers should look at this thread to see what is wanted so be more specific to get what you really want. Or maybe you didn't know they had those. Also check out locker talk cartridge.

Just trying to be helpful.

I would love Charlie Brown and Snoopy, Oh gosh Mario and Luigi and Sonic the Hedgehog for my son. Just to name a few. . . OH how I wish PROVO CRAFT would just attempt to but I know the licensing and the patents. . . Dare to dream. . .
