Hey yall! I am so overwhelmed right now! I have this idea in my head and I wanted to make sure it was "doable" before I even open my new Cricut. I've heard the Silhouette is better but didnt want to wait for one to come in the mail. I am thinking about downloading a digital cartridge. I'm wanting to know if I can add text on top of any image and it will cut it out? For instance, say I have a square and I want to have a word or something cut out of it. Can I do that with anything? I know I'm rambling but I don't know how to make it make sense. :) I just want the shape of the image as my background and a word cut out of that shape. Thanks in advance for any help. I'm dying here :)

You can do that if you weld the the images together. What Cricut machine do you have?

I currently have an Expression 2 and I often use Cricut Craft Room.

I would be happy to help you further if you need. :)
