This cart has some very pretty images for using pens to draw. What I'd like to do is draw the image and then cut the base shadow around the drawn image. But ARGH!! Sad Angry

If I move the pen to a location, draw, swap for the blade, move the blade to the same location, and cut, everything is off! It's like the left & top edges of the image & shadow are set the same rather than the image being centered within the shadow. I tried "Center Point" mode and that didn't help.

Do I need to do this in CCR or with the Explore? Or is there a trick that I'm not figuring out?Crying Confused

With a little experimenting I was able to get the attached - which looks very nice. But I have a stack of bad cuts to show for it.

Using CCR would make this a whole lot easier. use one mat to make the background than then one a 2nd mat do the cutting of the image. You can view both layers on top of each other and line them up so they cut and write where they are suppose to.

I wouldn't even begin to figure it out without the help of CCR. I love CCR for everything!
