Barb......a mix of both dark colors and pastels would be great. If It is not too much trouble, having the cuts glued works best for me, unless they are only two layers. If the cut is just two layers, I can glue it myself. Thanks! I saw on your MQ that you do not like the color blue, which I thought was funny, since that is my favorite color. Did you have to buy blue paper to make any of my cuts?

Oh, I will be sending your items in a box instead of an envelope......one of them won't fit in the envelope......GG.

OhMyGod OMG !! GG you have me in a tizzy Razz wondering what in the world you have come up with for me Woot I just wont be able to sleep at night Laugh !!

Yes - you are correct. I am not real fond of BLUE...Now , I love blue skies and blue water and placed where things OUGHT to be Blue...but I cannot wear it, nor do I ever decorate with it. I was really out of place in the 70's when everyone was wearing blue eyeshadow ! Ha Ha Tongue (hate that stuff anyhow) As for scrapping papers, I have to keep some BLUE on hand for those necessary things like Blue skies etc...and for people who ask me to make BLUE things for them. So never you mind about that - we got it covered ! In fact, today I am making powder blue "Baby Boy" cards....so there is no way to get around that !!
Plus, I have a lot of paper pads with mixed up colors and designs of all colors in them.
But, I prefer that someone not make an altered item or home decor item for me in blue as I will not be able to use it.

Other than that, I am really not hard to please...I LOVE handmade stuff ! Ever since my Grandma started teaching me to crochet when I was 6 years old...I have been experimenting with crafts Wub

DONNA. Hope you have had a good week. Today I added some things dealing with tea pots and tea cups (one of my favorites) I hope you like them. My daughter is coming from Spokane on Wednesday for 8 days and I am very excited to spend time with her as we both enjoy crafting. On Thursday I am having a little surgery not hardly any recovery time so lots of play time with my daughter. Sun is out here today and that always makes me happy -----cant wait for spring and all my tulips to start blooming. I love tulips there are so many varieties. You have yourself a great day and I will be thinking about you -----Nancy

Finally, some signs of Spring! Two days ago my crocus started blooming. Today, the grass is turning green. Spent yesterday morning picking up all of the tree branches which broke off from all of the gusty wind we have been having. My tulips are starting to peak out of their tender wrappings!! However, last night we had temperatures below freezing.

Forget to mention to my swap sister, actually I bought two more tiny goodies while out shopping. They slipped down into the bottom of the bag and I almost threw them away. WHEW!!!

Hello Lady KIng !

I made a run to Hobby Lobby on Thursday then worked on a couple of things yesterday. I am having fun trying to put the best package I can for $10.00. Of course , I am making good use of sells and couponsBigGrin .

I do have a question. If I have had something in my stash\stock for over 2 years and it is still in the package that I think my partner would like, does the value of that go against the $10.00 ?

Hoping everyone is having a great weekend.

Laura

Good question Laura ! Sometimes I have things that I had for years and never used them so it is always nice to pass those things along to someone else who may need them. The idea here is to use your stash as much as possible. Make some Cricut cuts and pass on things that you are not using...The $10.00 limit is so that you will not go out and spend a bunch of money. If the item is new and in the original package, and it costs less than $10 you can add it if you like, but you can use your own judgement. Since many of us buy items with 50% off coupons and on sales, it is hard to say the value of an item is $10 when you paid $5. for it. I just want to keep this package very reasonable for those who are on a tight budget. I don't count the items I create from my stash of supplies in the $10.00.
If you spend $10 and on top of that you add several handmade items from your stash, it can be a really nice gift package for your partner. BigGrin

Another point I forgot to make on this package, is that you do not have to use a decorated shoe box to send these items in. You can use a regular mailing package and just tissue wrap the items inside.

Thanks for clarifying this for us Barb, and thanks for asking the question, Laura. I had already planned to use stash items, so glad that is OK. I just used the $10 to buy specific items to make what I had in my stash match my partner's wishes. Hope you all are having a crafty day! Blessings, GG.

Happy Crafty Tuesday, Barb! Is it OK to mail this swap before the deadline? I have a couple surgeries coming up. The one in April is already scheduled, and I may have one in May. So, I have been diligently working on this, and should have everything ready by the end of the week. If you do not want this mailed early, I can most likely have my DH mail it for me, it would just be easier if I took care of it. DH is not a multi-tasker, and does not remember things well...lol. Just let me know. My one surgery is April 7th, and if all goes well, I should not be in the hospital very long. I just want to plan ahead, just in case. Have a lovely day! Blessings, GG.

Hi Everyone ! Hope you are all having a great week ! It is cool and sunny here in FLorida today...we had a sudden "cold snap" (went down in the 30's last night) but it almost always happens every year at the end of March we get a bunch of windy and cool days. Then, it will all of a sudden turn HOT and we will all be wondering what happened to "Spring". Ha Ha !

Well, GG honey I feel so bad for you having more surgery- bless your heart. You do whatever will work best for you. It will be fine if you want to mail early, but what I will do is wait until the end of April to open it, so that I will be opening mine about the same time as everyone else. I will probably not be ready to mail yours until mid to late April, so I will not open mine until you get yours from me. Right now I have to put more work into my Easter basket swap which is due by April 10th....
My DH is great about mailing things, since he is actually in "charge " of the mail on a daily basis, but I know some guys are not able to put that into their work days. If I did not have him to go to the post office I would not be able to have an ETSY shop because it is hard for me to leave my clinic during the day.

Happy Crafting ladies ! Please remember to check in with your partners weekly Love

Hello Swap Sis -

I see the request for cardinal and pine branch cuts - should they be together or separate?
My daughters are on spring break next week and I am eager to start doing some shopping - in my stash along with some crafty stores! Any other die cut requests? I have an arsenal in my possession (had a little scrappy boutique with a girlfriend, and the die cuts didn't go as quickly as I thought!) Throw anything else out there and I'll see what I can come up with! Unless of course, you're like moi and have a million and one cartridges!!!! Also, what colors for bargain ribboins/trims? Brights, boy, girl, neutrals, darks? Thanks!

There is one cut where the cardinal is perched on a pine branch (not for sure which cartridge it is on though). I have a ton of Cricut cartridges but none of the newer ones Except Winter wonderland and I bought TC December 25 but will not get it for a while.

I like shades of green and soft pretty colors. I like Vintage buttons also (not big and gaudy ones. Other than that, anything will be just fine with me.

Hi Kiethann and everyone else too ! If you are ever needing to find where an image might be you can try 2 things... the easiest is to go to www.mycutsearch.com and type into the search box what you are looking for...most of the time it will pop up several carts to choose from..
THe other is to got to cricut.com and type it into the seach bar there...you might get lucky !LOL

Also came across some darling .........for you to use on your scrapbook pages. Now all I have to do is some cuts for you! Are there any particular cartridges which have girly items on them which you do not own???

I'm a decent bowler; 165, 170, 174 today, but the boys are not. Lots of gutter balls, but they didn't seem to mind. The place we went is new, no weird bowling alley smell. There is also an arcade, and we played games as well. They have a four way PacMan game that I wiped the floor with them on! They are use to using their thumbs, not a joy stick! Only chance I will ever have at beating them on a video game...lol. Earned mad respect today....actual words they used! I am so glad they still want to hang out with me. At 17 1/2, soon to be 16, and 14 1/2, I could be a pariah. Anyway, hope you have a fabulous weekend.....meant for all of you wonderful swappers, too. Just have one thing to add to your box, and then will be done, Barb. Will hold on to it as long as I can. My oldest said he could handle mailing it for me if I have a hospital stay. He's my responsible one. Should have known he would volunteer. Have fun! Blessings, GG.

So glad to hear you are able to start enjoying the "funner" things in life again. Awesome that your oldest son wants to hang out with you. Good luck with your upcoming surgery.

Hello swappers! Hello my swap sister, CricutCrazy! I got an order for 50 Easter cards, so I am working on them today. The customer liked the card I made for my family, so asked for the same card. By the time I am done, I will have made 80 of these cards.......phew! I did change the colors a little, and used a different rabbit and dove, since my X could actually cut them, and my E2 could not. Anyone else working on Easter cards or crafts? Finished the box for you, Barb, so excited to have it done. I did post something in the cards section on the MB, but it is just a note to you. It says not to look, Barb, so try really hard not to, OK?
Hope you all have a great weekend! Blessings, GG.

GG, I know how you feel my kids are 19,16 and twin 8 yr olds. My older kids like hanging out with their father and I, we are so blessed.

I have not done any Easter crafts yet. I need to make a card for my godson and niece.

Laura
