Has anyone discovered how to outline an image with the pens? Kind of like we did with the expression.....putting the pen in place of the blade housing, outlining and then replacing the blade and cutting the image.

Thanks in advance for the help

Or more simply stated, can I select draw instead of cut?

I haven't figured out how to draw then cut the same lines like we could in ccr but you can just draw by placing your image on the canvas and then select the layers tool in the upper right corner of the screen. Click on the scissors icon next to the layer that you want to draw. This brings up another window where you an choose write, cut or score. Put your pen in the left side and go.

Maybe someone else has figured out the next step of cutting the same lines.

I didn't have a lot of success outlining and cutting because it was just a bit off. Perhaps due to not being in the same holder? Anyway, this image was drawn from Botanicals. I attached the image to the shadow, and changed the cut symbol on the image to draw and left the shadow at cut. Again, it's a bit off but MUCH better than my fussy cutting it out!

I was trying to do this thinking I would draw on white and then color the images, kinda like digi stamps.

Wonder if anyone HAS come up with a way to outline and cut. BigGrin Christine

If you log into Capadiadesigns.blogspot.com she did a detailed description on this. It was at least a week ago so you will have to scroll down. She is very good and has given lots of advice over the years.

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I am going to give them a try.

Too bad our pens for the expression don't fit the Explore.
