Can I use the older fat pens/markers with the explore?

can i buy any scoring tip???

The older pens/markers were made to fit in the older model arm where the blade housing unit goes. The blade housing unit for the Explore is smaller so you can't use them there. Plus, the software activates the "A" tool for drawing and that housing is the size of a regular pen. The pen holder "sleeve" does come out, but I don't think the old markers will fit.

You can however use other brands like American Crafts, Recollections and even the stick Crayola markers.

The score tool is available on the shopping pages here on cricut.com as well as some chain stores. Ms has 30% off their Cricut accessories this week and it includes the Explore accessories.
