I just want to cut a few things with my imagine machine. The machine asks for a cartridge even though what I want to cut is from a digital package I purchased. How do we fix this?

Sounds like your Imagine isn't being recognised by CCR.

Have you updated it?

It might be worth trying a new USB cord and trying a different USB port on your computer. Also make sure the USB cord is plugged in firmly into the USB port on the back of the Imagine.

And lastly, make sure you have installed the Imagine drivers from the Help menu in CCR.

Narelle,
Thanks for the reply. Yes, supposedly the driver is all up to date and I re-inserted the usb cables, but no luck. Right now even if I don't use CCR the machine still asks me to insert a cartridge when it is time to cut. The funny thing is the cartridge is already inserted and I even chose the graphic from the cartridge, but it no cutting.Mellow I guess the imagine just might be done for.

I don't own an imagine but just a thought . . . . . . .did you try to reset the machine? I had to do this recently with my Gypsy to get some new carts on it. Might be worth a shot!

Thanks for the help. CCR is working now without any further tampering from me, but I still can't cut just from my cartridges. Hopefully, this will fix itself soon too.
