Bingolady thanks for sharing your samples with us.
#1 love the orange colors highlighted with the purple flowers, nice combination #2 makes me want to have a tea party, love the way you flipped this sketch #3 very very pretty and striling with the pink and black combination.
Extra credit - love them The 2 Dad ones are very nice with the different layers of paper. The "love" one is very unique with the heart in the corner. Great job on all three of them, but would really like to see a picture of how they open so I can get an idea on how to do mine. Did you weld them? I really like the first "dad" one but for some reason when I click on it to open it I get the love one, weird.

Sorry ladies for some reason I'm having trouble posting some of my letter cards.

Donna , no I didn't make them to open. But I am working on one of them to open.
I was thinking maybe using some brads.

Ladies I'm so mad, cause I had so much trouble posting my cards, I hope you can
see them. I don't know why I had so much trouble this time. Anyway I sure hope
they all came out.

BingoLady,
Thanks for Hosting, looking forward to working your sketches. Thanks for the samples you posted, all the decor and colors are nice. Hope I can make the Extra Credit "Letter Shape" into a card. You gave us some good samples to inspire us to give it a try, my favorite is the "Love" one.

NanaDonna
Thanks for posting the Ad Color Challenge for Dee, she picked another winning combination for us to work with!

Hi Bingo Lady:

Thanks for the card sketches and colors. I'm done with family emergencies - I hope - and I'm going to play with all of you again. I do miss this group.

Your "mom" card is very pretty and bright; the tea party card is so cute but I love your pink and black (silver) card the best! Your letter cards are really cute, too. I can only see one Dad card - did you remove the other one or is my computer messing up? I don't see the one with the truck.

Now it's time to sit and stare at the computer and hope a big shot of inspiration hits me so I can get started on my cards.

Sandy C

Never mind - I just saw the truck!

Here is my sketch #3. I was stumped a bit at first with the center area but in the end
I like the way it turned out.

The background papers were printed with my Imagine and Vintage Papers cartridge. The back center panel I stamped with a Stampin Up stamp. I was leery about doing it because I was not sure how it would look, but I think I like it.
The center piece I have had sitting on my desk for a couple months waiting to use it on something.
It was created with my "other" machine. It is DCWV Chalkboard paper that I wrote with a white pen the saying, then cut the label shape around the words. TFL

Thanks for the sketches, add colors and the extra credit. Love everyone's interpretation of the sketches. Hope to be able to post comments on individual cards soon. After working 14+ hours, I went over to my sister's house to make some mother day and other cards. Hope soon to scan one which will work for one of the sketches. Right now, I think I am finally going to get some sleep. Night all!

Attempted a card tonight...finally was able to get some mojo going I think. Daughter pointed out to me I have made my mom a card before with these papers...oops. Should I still give it to her?

Sketch #1...no cricut/cuttlebug.
MS: Branch punch that I have had for years and don't know that I have actually used it before.

After some much needed sleep, I am awake and here is a loose interpretation of sketch 2. There is no Cricut or Cuttlebug as I made this over at my sister's house yesterday and she had her Cricut "smoking" making Mother's day cards. Her cuttlebug was on loan to her daughter. So I made this card from her fantastic scrap paper box!

Hi Ladies,
One more card finished, YAY!! Wanted to finish it before I returned this cartridge I borrowed from NanaDonna. Have an awesome week-end, Ladies!!Smile

My #2 Sketch Card

Happy B'day - BIRTHDAY CAKES cartridge
Embossing - Cuttlebug "Tiny Bubbles" folder and Darice "Clouds" folder
Bubbles Paper - Michael's Single Sheet Rack
Boat, Anchor, Shark and Whale - LIFE'S a BEACH cartridge (Thanks NanaDonna)
I used watercolor pencils to color the whole boat first, then I filled-in the Flag and Sails with Diamond Glaze and I used Inkssentials Crackle Accents on the boat bottom to give it a "rough" finish, crackle not very noticeable in the picture. I double-layered the whole boat for diminsion. I used blue twine cord to separate the two sections. (Sorry, BingoLady, couldn't make it work on the diagonal.Unsure)

Hope everyone has a very Happy Mother's Day and get spend time with family & friends.

I did manage to FINALLY get my sketch #2 done. It just seems like I kept getting sidetracked so it took me a while to finish it.
The ice cream cone is a digital image that I colored with my Copic markers. I put some Crystal Lacquer on the strawberry and touches of glitter pen on the ice cream.
The plaid paper is from DCWV Sweet Shop paper stack. The right hand pieces are glitter card stock.
I messed up and cut the circles as tags and now I have those silly holes in them, I tried putting some bling over them but it just did not look right with the little ice cream cones there. So I think I will play around with some ribbon and see what I come up with. Any body got any other idea?????
The small ice cream cones were cut using Doodlecharms cartridge. TFL

for the sky.

ice cream cones. So colorful and bright.

Happy Mother's Day to all. I did get to play in my craftroom today and finish up a card I started yesterday.
Here is my Ex-credit card except that instead of doing just a letter I did a few of them but the card is still in the shape of a letter.
I can't remember which cartridge I used for the letters Blushing but I set it all up in CCR and welded them. The happy is from Create a Critter. I put the "day" on chipboard to make it sturdy.

I welded two of the big "B" with out the whole in the middle to make the card base. Here is the card opened so you can see what I did. TFL

Hi Ladies,
Sorry, no Cricut...but I did use a Provo Craft embossing folder!!!BlushingBlushing

My Sketch Card #3 and Ad Colors:
Sorry BingoLady, I didn't make it exactly as the sketch, I changed a couple of things.Scared

Papers - DCWV "Elegant Wedding" 8X8 stack
Mr & Mrs. - Sticker from the same DCWV stack above
Embossing - A Cuttlebug "Script" and a Darice "Flowers and Leaves" folders
Ribbon - Spool by Offray at Michael's
Round Cut - From Spellbinders "Standard Circles" set
I didn't have black pearls so I used a black Sharpie on white pearls.
