JCI - Hi Ladies, didn't get anything done today. Slept way to late but guess I needed it. Had to send a long over due goodie box to my dd - 2 dgd's & dgrtgd. It was fun stuff I had done over winter. Little boxes for treats (I love making boxes), my hand made gift bags and lots of treats. Then went to Ophthalmologist - barely saw him for 5 minutes but was with his nurses quite awhile. He looked in my eyes and said you have bad cataracts, what would you like to do. Surgery or other. Of course surgery. Then more tests, ultrasound and measurements for new lense. Those nurses went over absolutely everything so I had no questions. (Course working around this stuff for 40 years also helped.) So that is my news of the day and I am so excited to have it done. ALSO so excited that my eldest daughter and grandsons will be home on 27th. Have not seen them in 2 years, then in August they move to Germany. SIL will be here later, he's been in Calif. for 9 mo. learning German and going to be teaching German military.

Surgery is 7-2 and 7-16

Sorry so gabby but I am so excited.

Hugs - Patti

I haven't changed themes since seeing the sketches. I got all my layers cut and other parts cut. My _______ bling came in the mail today and was so happy because I needed things for other swaps also. I am ready to rock and roll on this as soon as I finish a couple other things tomorrow and Monday. Hope everyone is having a great weekend. Hugs - Patti

you know you have been working on your ATC project for too long when you put glue on the wrong side of the die cut and don't have an extra.

Hi All!!

JCI. Last week was the last week of school which is ridiculously crazy. Had no time for crafting. Hoping to get back in the swing of things this week.

FYI... I'll be on vacation from June 24 - July 14. I'll do my best to check in and keep up with the MB.

I think we have all done that at some point. BigGrin

If it were me, I would just make that ATC mine and just use some other small letters to spell the word.

Luckily, I had saved the file in CCR and just had to hunt up a scrap of paper to remake the cut. I am done. I work on and off all day yesterday, making a mess of the table. I am just waiting for ATC pockets to come in from ebay and then they'll be off to Jean.

Happy Father's Day. Hope you all don't have to do too much cooking and cleaning today. We're going out for lunch and bocci ball with the family

Working on these. I was told at work yesterday that Summer Hours are from 7:30 - 4:00 with a 1/2 hour lunch. And I will be required to punch out for that 1/2 hour. So, I will bring my ATCs to work and finish them pretty quick during my "lunches". I'm actually kind of excited to work on my projects a little bit every day.

Not sure what you mean by "put any coating over the top".

Some of the ladies put their finished ATCs in little bags when they are completed.

I have my ideas down for my ATCs but deciding what design will look best. I've never made them before so I've been "researching" on google and Pinterest. A bit overwhelming, as usual. Looking forward to getting started on these. I will be travelling a bit and will probably have them mailed the week they are due. Thought about taking them with me as I might find some fun embellishments on my travels. :)

If you have ever made a card, then these are the same just on a much smaller scaleBigGrin
You have your base (2 1/2" X 3 1/2") and then your top layer which you have decorated.

I usually do my top layer a 1/4" smaller so that I have a border around my edge. Everyone does them different. Only the size of ATCs are the sameBigGrin

Add your info on the back and you are done!!!! Not hard at all but the size is what makes it challenging and fun!!!!

Just checking in, haven't started yet but have my design/elements decided upon, so as soon as I get some time they'll go together fairly quickly. Brother never took our mom last time but barring any unforeseen circumstances, she's going to his house this weekend.

My grandson made his arrival last night only a day ahead of schedule. At 7lbs 11oz Everett Grayson is the first grandchild on his mother's side and the first for me; for my ex-husband he's #9! He spent the night in NICU for his breathing but it was a long/difficult labor, they said he's healthy and his mama is tired but doing well. My son is beaming.

Yesterday was very productive! Not only was I able to finish my ATCs, but also worked on my other swap. It is a little challenging coming up with items for some of the themes. OH well, I am sure something will come to my creative mind soon.

Hi,

My 15 ATCs went in the mail this morning. I included enough $ for the small priority box. I think that is easiest for you.

These ATCS do more traveling than I do --- coast to coast twice!!!

thanks for hosting

Checking in. DS' graduation party is finally over and I am taking the rest of the day to recover. I should be able to start working on my ATCs this week. I think they will go together pretty quickly as long as some of my teeny tiny cuts come out alright.
