My XP computer crashed and I purchased a new Dell with Windows 7. I downloaded Design Studio and the two font updates from the Cricut Design Studio Update Page. When I double click on Design Studio, the Design Studio window comes up briefly with no fonts loading in the window, closes and then the "Cricut Design Studio has stopped working" window pops up. I can't get to the point to register it. I've researched the subject on-line and followed all the suggestions but still not opening for me. Any tricks I haven't tried?

It could be your anti-virus program or firewall blocking it.

Another cause in the past has been that the screen resolution was set too low. Make sure your screen resolution is set to 1024x768 with DPI of 768.
